Corporate
If you have a multi-discipline degree and are keen to build a career where diversity and scale are key motivating factors, becoming a part of the Corporate Graduate Program could be your ideal choice.
Over the course of your two-year Graduate Program, the Corporate stream provides four six-month rotations across a range of business segments. The aim of this approach is to help you develop your skills, knowledge and networks across the Qantas Group. It will enable you to develop a big picture perspective of Qantas and its complex interrelationships, refine and apply these learning’s in a variety of business environments, and help you develop your footprint as an emerging leader within the world's most experienced airline.
Your rotations will include working in operational and customer focused areas such as Qantas Airlines, QantasLink, Jetstar, Qantas Catering, Qantas Freight and Qantas Engineering. The focus of these rotations is to help you develop your project, stakeholder and change management skills. You will also gain exposure to rotations with the corporate groups that support operational areas such as sales, marketing, pricing, network planning, government relations, business improvement and strategy. The focus of these rotations is to help you develop your strategic and analytical thinking skills.
If you have some previous work experience obtained from any role in another business, and have recently graduated with a solid multi-discipline degree, the Qantas Corporate Program can help you build the foundation skills required to become a future leader and set you on the best possible career path.

Finance
Our Finance Graduate Program offers you, as a talented accounting graduate seeking a career in finance, the opportunity to develop your skills and experience within a global company. The breadth of Qantas’ operations also means that you will gain maximum exposure to different business areas that operate almost as separate business units.
You will join a two-year program involving four six-month rotations designed to give you experience in a number of key finance departments across the business, both in Group Finance and business segment finance teams. Through this you will gain an understanding of how different areas work together to provide finance support to the business, and experience in several core finance areas to equip you with excellent skills and commercial acumen to launch your career.
Rotations may be in areas such as Group Finance departments responsible for Financial Reporting, Planning and Analysis, Taxation, Financial Control, Treasury and Financial Services as well as in the Finance departments within our flying and other business segments.
During the rotations, you may become actively involved in major projects and important events, such as the half yearly and end of year results, and annual budget. It is a requirement of the Finance Graduate Program that you successfully complete either the CA or CPA program to obtain your professional accounting qualification and we can provide the sponsorship and support you need to meet study requirements and build a successful career with us.

Human Resources
Our Human Resources Graduate Program is designed for graduates with a HR-related degree looking for a successful and rewarding career within HR.
You will join a two-year program involving four six-month rotations throughout various HR departments. We’ll give you experience with a variety of Qantas business segments to provide you with an insight into the HR operations and strategies that support the Qantas Group. You will build knowledge and skills in core HR processes and practices, and gain valuable experience working in an operational area of the business.

Information Technology
Our IT stream is designed for graduates of computer science, business systems and related IT degrees as well as for graduates from other disciplines with a proven aptitude for Information Technology.
As part of the IT stream you will complete a two-year program of assignments through core business areas such as Application Services, Relationship Management and Project Management.
You will have the opportunity to use leading edge technology to manage and solve complex business problems related to the airline industry. Throughout the program you will experience working with a number of systems and technology and build your skills to develop, maintain and support every area of the airline's operations.
The IT stream is designed to help you develop as an IT professional with both a strong customer service and business focus. The program complements your tertiary education by providing integrated technical and professional skills development opportunities aligned to the strategic direction of our business and is designed to help you establish a fulfilling and dynamic career.
