Harnessing technology on a global scale and tailoring specific solutions to local scenarios are part of the challenges the members of the Qantas Information & Technology (IT) team successfully address in a dynamic working environment.

Our IT workforce is predominantly based at our head office in Mascot, Sydney and opportunities generally fall into the following areas:

  • Project and Program Management
  • Business Systems Analysis
  • Testing and Quality Assurance
  • Services and Relationship Management
  • Architecture

Because of the complexities and diversity of IT and the need to future-proof the operating success of the Group’s many business units, Qantas outsources infrastructure, desktop, support and development services to a variety of specialist suppliers. This allows Qantas IT to focus on governance, on optimising all aspects of service and relationship management and on delivering best practice IT innovation.
